Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailands capital city, has dominated its urban hierarchy and political, commercial and cultural life since the late 18th century. The city is considered to be one of the most famous holiday destinations in the world for its rich culture and heritage, modern developments and overabundance of attractions. Bangkok’s best feature is its intermingling of opposites.
A modern world of affluence orbits around a serene traditional core. Step outside the four-star hotels into a typical Siamese village where taxi drivers knock back energy drinks and upcountry transplants grill chicken on a street side barbecue. With its intense humidity, hedonistic nightclubs and hurly-burly taxiing of tuk-tuks, Bangkok is an exhilarating attack on the senses.
